❤️ Who Is Behind It

Catholica World was founded and is directed by Fran, a medical student, artist, and cradle Catholic based in Manila, Philippines.

She grew up in the Church, attended Catholic school, received the sacraments, and lived among Catholic traditions long before she fully understood them. As she grew older, she began asking whether the faith she had inherited was something she truly knew and freely chose.

That question led to reading, listening, seeking, and returning to the Church’s sources with greater intention. Catholica World grew from that process. Fran directs the project not as someone who has mastered the faith, but as someone committed to learning carefully, creating thoughtfully, and inviting others into the search.

Her role is part researcher, part creative director, part host, and part fellow seeker.

As Catholica World grows, it hopes to involve a wider community of priests, religious, catechists, theologians, writers, artists, researchers, students, and laypeople who can contribute their knowledge, experience, and gifts.

The project may have a director, but it is not meant to become one person’s private platform. It is being built toward a wider fellowship of people willing to ask sincerely, study carefully, create beautifully, and grow together.

Catholica World is still becoming.

It is being built one question, one resource, one object, and one conversation at a time.
